Living Testimony

this week has been student week of prayer, what that means is students are preaching every night of this week and sharing their testimony and what God has done in their lives. today this young girl talked about her life and that at the age of 20 she was diagnosed with cancer; she was explaining that she was a health science major and a fitness nut, but all that health didn't save her from getting sick. she went on to tell her story about finding out that she was going to gain weight (which she did 25 pounds) and that she was going to get sick from all the chemo.

she lost all her hair she didn't have any of her friends in her time of need and worst of all she was told she wasn't going to be able to have children. so recap, now at 21 she had no hair, was overweight, had to leave school, spend 5 days in the hospital and had no friends for support and the cherry on top she couldn't have any children, her ovaries were taken out and they put her through menopause. in all of this she said to herself why me, why me???? God why me? but she realized in the end God was there and she not knowing why her, she focused on for what God?
what is your purpose your mission. and listening to her testimony, i think her story can be a lesson to all when we go through the fire, and life has taken everything from us, our hopes and dreams our plans for the future its good to know you can still have hope because God will love you no matter what and has a PLAN for your life. so be encouraged brothers and sisters, and remember do your daily devotionals.
